Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic week and are enjoying your weekends! I have personally been crazy stressed out, but all for good reason! I haven't talked about it much, but I'm in the process of getting a new home! (I don't like to talk about things until they're pretty much set in stone.) I went out and looked at it today and they're starting to put on finishing touches! Aside from house things, the week hasn't been too bad at all! I finished a few book trades and got my Caraval preorder! On Saturday I spent the afternoon at a friend's baby shower. I met her family (and a puppy!!) and had cake, so it was a good day! Oh, and you might have noticed we have some amazing new graphics around the blog! My amazing friend Austine from Novel Knight was kind enough to make my new header and button and I am IN LOVE with it! (Pretty please update the button if you have me in your blogroll!)

MC's Happenings Off the Blog

Happy weekend! What a week it's been. We had about two feet of snow this week and it's supposed to keep snowing all weekend. I'm so sick of snow. It seems like it's never going to stop. I did get a snow day, though, so I was FINALLY able to finish Winterspell. That was the first book I started this year and it feels like I've been reading it forever. It was lovely to have a day of being lazy and reading, since I haven't had one of those in a while. This weekend I will be trying my best to avoid snow (ugh) and also celebrating Valentine's Day. My plans are a surprise, so I have no clue what's in store for me! I'm excited!
