Happenings Off the Blog...
This week has been delightfully uneventful! I went to work, I came home, I watched Netflix or read... and it was amazing. The one thing of note that did happen this week was going to a used bookstore I'd heard about. That was not amazing. The bookstore had a very weird trade policy that ended with me trading $60+ worth of stuff, leaving with $40 of stuff, and still having to pay $20 out of pocket. Most of their adult books were also insanely overpriced. One hardback I found (a 23rd printing, still in print) was missing its dust jacket, the pages were covered in stains, and it was marked at $20. I also found a mass market paperback that originally sold for $7.99, marked to sell at $9. If I didn't still have credit there I doubt I'd go back.
I'd also like to shamelessly plug an event that I have coming up on the blog! It's called #ReadIndie and its purpose is to feature amazing indie authors! The prizes are trickling in for this event and it's one you won't want to miss, especially if promoting indies is important to you! Check it out in the sidebar ⟶
