Weekly Recap: 10/24 - 10/31

My Super Exciting Life 

Holy crap. You will not believe the weekend I've had. Yesterday we woke up on our first morning in Orlando and took our sweet time getting ready, finally deciding to head out for groceries in the afternoon. While we were out, my husband surprised me by taking me to Best Buy and buying me a new computer!! Yay, right? Well, next we went to get groceries, leaving the computer in the locked trunk (still in the bag). When my husband came out 20 minutes later to check something, the computer was GONE! An hour later, we knew (thanks to Target security) that a man had followed us from Best Buy, broke into our car, popped the trunk, and took my brand new computer. Welcome to Orlando, I guess. The word on the street is that we were probably targeted because we still have an out of state license plate. Luckily, the insurance company paid us within hours and I was able to get a replacement. But now I'm paranoid so ADT will be getting a call from us tomorrow!

Good news though! The move is almost complete! The movers came on Wednesday and loaded our stuff and we made the drive to Florida with our two furbabies on Friday. Although our stuff was meant to be here yesterday, it looks like we won't be getting it until tomorrow... It's almost over!!

In the meantime, I've been struggling to keep on top of reading and blogging, but with so much going on, it's been difficult. I did manage to keep a good number of posts on the blog, but I anticipate things getting back to normal in the coming weeks. I feel so bad when I don't have time to comment back immediately or go check out what all of you are posting on your lovely blogs! Please don't give up on me just yet!!
