Happy Friday, fellow book lovers! Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The goal of Feature & Follow is to meet new bloggers, make friends, and gain readers.
This Week's Question:
Characters, sometimes our favorites, die during books.
If you'd get to choose, who would you bring back?
The Song of Achilles: Achilles and Patroclus
If you'd get to choose, who would you bring back?
SPOILER ALERT!!
Allegiant: Tris and Four
Um... what?! I'm still not over this. Unlike some others, I didn't get super pissed about it and cry for a week, but I definitely feel like Veronica Roth could have ended the series differently. I don't see what purpose the deaths of Tris and Four served.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: Dumbledore
This one I did understand. Dumbledore's death did serve a purpose, but that didn't make it any less gut-wrenching. I did see the movies before I read the books, so I knew what was coming, at least.
The Song of Achilles: Achilles and Patroclus
So this one isn't as spoilery - everyone knows the story. I went into this book knowing that Achilles would die, but I was still devastated. The love story made me dread what was coming so much more.
